Malcolm H. Wiener, Chairman of the School’s Board of Trustees, has announced that William T. Loomis has been appointed Acting President of the Board. Robert A. McCabe, President of the Board since 2010, has requested a temporary leave of absence from that position, to which he plans to return at some point in the future. Mr. Loomis will continue as Secretary of the Board and Mr. McCabe will remain on the Board’s Executive Committee. Mr. Loomis is an alumnus of the School (Summer Session 1965, Regular Member 1967/8, Associate Member 1988-1990), and has served as a Trustee since 1975 and as Secretary and Member of the Executive Committee of the Board since 1979.
