In the video that follows we present highlights from the one-day meeting in experimental archaeology organized by the Faculty of History and Archaeology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Prof. Georgia Kourtesi- Filippaki, and the Malcolm H. Wiener Laboratory for Archaeological Science, ASCSA, with the contribution of the Onassis Foundation. On March 21st 2017, Dr. Sylvie Beyries (French National Centre for Scientific Research, CEPAM - UMR 7264 and fellow of the Onassis Foundation fellowship program for International Scholars 2017-2018) guided a group of students in the use of stone tools and the observation of wear patterns, using the microscopes of the Lab. The one-day meeting combined theory and practice and was successful in introducing the students to this fascinating field of archaeology.
