The Anthropologicial Archive
The Wiener Laboratory Anthropological Collection is now housed at the Department of Biology at the University of Athens. Created by Anna Lagia (University of Chicago), it is comprised of well-documented human skeletons of known age, sex, occupation, place of birth, death and cause of death. Endorsed by the Department of Human and Animal Physiology of the University of Athens and the Ephorate of Palaeoanthroplogy and Speleology in Greece, this collection is invaluable to medical as well as anthropological research.
