Processing History

In 2004 the amphora archive and the rest of Virginia Grace papers were transferred from the Stoa of Attalos to the Archives of the American School, in a friendly space for the researchers, which will be named after Virginia R. Grace. Tania Panagou, a graduate student of the Department of History and Archaeology at the Athens University, who is the author of an M.A. thesis on “Stamped Amphora Handles from a Cistern in the Area of Theseion,” and great admirer of “Miss Grace”, undertook and completed the cataloguing of Virginia Grace’s papers in 2007.
