Corinth Workrooms Renovated

The main ASCSA workroom at the museum in Ancient Corinth received a facelift in July and September 2010.  Workmen replaced the old central worktable with nine new workstations and painted the concrete walls lighter and brighter.  Assistant Director Ioulia Tzonou, Conservator Nikol Anastassatou, Foreman and Assistant Thanasis Notis and Panos Kakouros, and Consevation Technicians Takis Notis and Tasos Kakouros are taking the opportunity to clean, conserve, and reorganize many of the minor finds and architectural fragments formerly housed in the workroom.  Please see the slideshow for photos.
