On May 14, 2013, the Research Group of Environmental Archaeology at the University of Athens and Environmental Archaeology researchers of the Wiener Laboratory of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens under the auspices of the Department of Archaeology and Art History, University of Athens, held a workshop entitled "Keeping our Past Alive." The workshop's objectives were to demonstrate the wealth of information on environmental archaeology, derived from scientific study and evaluation of excavation monuments and artwork; understand the past environment with the assistance of macroscopic and microscopic analyses; and the importance of international cooperation in this analysis.  Download the program here (greek/english).
