Call for Excavation Supervisors for the 2024 season in the Athenian Agora

The Agora Excavations are looking for Supervisors for the excavations of the Athenian Agora. The successful applicants will be responsible for supervising trenches in the newly opened Sector BK north of Hadrian Street and supervising student volunteers and workmen. The digging season is June 10 to August 2, but supervisors arrive in Athens the week beginning June 3, and they stay for the post-production wrap-up week that ends August 9. The Agora Excavations will provide accommodation and a weekly stipend of $250.

Review of applications will begin January 1, 2024, and will continue until the positions are filled.
