Stephanie Savage - New York University

Stephanie is a fifth year PhD student in the Classics department at New York University. She has worked on excavations in Florida, Cyprus, and for several seasons at the Mt. Lykaion Excavation and Survey Project. Her research interests include the archaeology of the Peloponnese from the Bronze Age through the Hellenistic period, the development of sanctuary spaces, regional variations in culture and religious practices, the intersection of warfare and the archaeological record, and Sparta and her modern reception.
