The American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) is the oldest and largest U.S. overseas research center. A consortium of nearly 200 affiliated North American colleges and universities, the School provides graduate students and scholars a base for the advanced study of all aspects of Greek culture, from antiquity to the present day.
It has come to our attention that Submittable, our online application system, is having issues today. Thus if are applying for a fellowship or program at the School, with a deadline set for today, that deadline has been extended until tomorrow (January 16, 2021).

After marrying Joannes Gennadius in 1932, she embraced her husband’s love for Greece and adopted her Greek name Anthi (Ανθή). Florence also supported Joannes's decision to present his entire collection to the American School of Classical Studies at Athens that led to the creation of the Gennadius Library.
