Research Topic: The Distribution of Classical and Hellenistic Herm Fragments in the Agora

With the support of the Kress Publication Fellowship, Laura Hutchison Bhatti is evaluating the distribution of sculptural fragments of herms within the confined area of the Agora and across phases of deposition ranging from the fifth century to the modern period. The goal of the project is the completion of a publication-ready analysis supported by high-quality maps and illustrations, to be included in The North Side of the Agora: The Excavations of 1980–2022, a forthcoming volume co-edited by John Camp and Brian Martens.
