List of Current Permits

There follows a list of projects that have been approved by the Excavation and Survey Committee and have received an official permit from the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports for the years 2012 onward. The ASCSA is entitled to six field projects every year, three independent and three in collaboration (synergasia) with the Archaeological Service. One of these has traditionally been the School’s own excavation at Corinth. Excavations in the Athenian Agora were granted permission in 1929 by a special act of Parliament and are thus excluded from the six annually permitted field projects.
